MindTouch’s Open Source Wiki Releases 100 New Features
…as wikis continue to become a new standard for websites, the merging of various aspects of Internet culture, publications, the dispersement of infomation and the creation of communities, even if this is done on a module-by-module basis. The inclusion of these tools means that the open source platform on which the Deki Wiki has been created means that the room for growth is quite vast.
Kristen Nicole, always insightful, realizes where we’re taking Deki Wiki. It’s not just an excellent Intranet tool. It’s also shaping up to be the go-to-technology for powering websites. This includes those with a community focus and otherwise. Take MindTouch.com for example. It’s powered almost entirely by Deki Wiki. It’s a lot easier to use, more powerful, and flexible than the CMS we were using.
