Still Growing…

And growing and growing…

stats

The above download stats account for about 60%-70% of total distribution. The SaaS offering at http://wik.is just launched late Q1 of 2008, which explains the slower growth. Conversion rates have also increased, slightly, and the Average Sale Price almost doubled in Q1 of 2008. It’s interesting to note that Q1 2008 was the first time MindTouch invested any significant amount in Marketing (Google Ads) and PR, Future-Works PR came on retainer at the beginning of the new year. Upon reviewing our web analytics I’m proud to report 70%+ of all web traffic to MindTouch properties is organic and search terms are specific to MindTouch or Deki Wiki. This is both good and bad. It’s good because we have a lot of room for improvement on the SEO front and we’ve got a lot of room to ratchet our growth through artificial (advertising) means. Moreover, it shows that people are just genuinely interested in the technology and we’re not buying the eyeballs. It’s bad because we could be doing a lot better on SEO, PR, and marketing.

Thank you Gardeners and the wider community of users for helping to spread the word. It’s predominately your efforts that’s driving this growth. Evidence to this effect is outlined above. Keep up the great work and continue to blog and tell your friends and colleagues about MindTouch and how you’re using Deki Wiki. Thanks!
