MindTouch Deki 8.05.2b

While we’re hard at work polishing things up for the Kilen Woods release, we’re also posting an update to the Jay Cooke family, version 8.05.2b to address issues introduced in the 8.05.2a release. This version addresses a couple of regressions, most notably a bug with group permissioning as well as patching a security vulnerability with injection attacks through comments. This update should be considered a high priority update for anybody who is running 8.05.2a.

Check out the bugs fixed, or download the source now. (VM users can update using updateWiki.sh)

  2. The only problem with this updateis that there is no documentation exist on how to upgrade from 8.05.2 to the lates version and there is no packages such as rpm and deb. An it looks like you guys are not going to release any “minor updates” packages. This policy is the major reason for me to search for more consistant wiki vendors/projects.

  3. andre, all our upgrades follow the same steps, which we’ve outlined in our upgrade wiki.
