Developer roundup

With our latest release, Minneopa, in the final stages of its release, our engineering team has been busy cranking out documentation for all the advanced developer features of the MindTouch platform. Here’s a roundup of the recent activity:

  • Bob has written a how-to guide which describes how to utilize the MindTouch Javascript library to fully interact with our API. If you saw the Collaborative Intranet demo and were wow-ed by the functionality, this post is a must-read for you!
  • For PHP developers, Guerric has planted the seeds to our future PHP developer home which educates developers on how to utilize our hooks and plugins to write your custom UI workflows inside MindTouch.
  • While we’ve just started building up our front-end documentation, our community is alive and flourishing with bundles of DekiScript apps that were made possible by MindTouch’s rapid application platform. Check out the community roundup from Steve which contains tons of links to applications you can deploy on your MindTouch sites today!
  • The underlying architecture of MindTouch is one of the huge differentiators in separating us from our competitors - it has been one of the key reasons why we’ve succeeded in building out such a powerful platform. For technical readers of this blog, you’ll find the recent podcasts from Arne and Steve to be quite informative. Podcast #1 is all about locks, while podcast #2 is all about why asynchronous matters.
