In just a few short weeks, MindTouch will be showcased by the MIT Enterprise Forum as their September business case study.  In a style akin to a typical business case study, the MIT Enterprise Forum will explore some of the key business issues facing MindTouch, except unlike the typical case study, this one will be presented live in front of a audience!  After a brief presentation by our CEO, Aaron Fulkerson, a team of subject matter experts will convene, and debate their preferred courses of action on stage before the audience;  in fact, they will even be soliciting audience participation!

Here at MindTouch I have led our team internally to help identify the business challenges where we feel we would most benefit from outside input.  Through the past few weeks of discussions, the one challenge that continued to surface related to communicating with certain customer types.  MindTouch continues to grow as an enterprise software leader and now it is time for our messaging to grow in tandem with our software.

You can read the full description of the September case study on the MITEF website, excerpted below:

If your customers are individuals rather than the organization they represent and you would like to turn this around, you will want to join the discussion with MindTouch this month at the Forum.   The Forum’s September case presenter, Aaron Fulkerson, CEO of MindTouch, is encouraging outside perspectives for the company’s brand reach and market expansion.

With 20 million users, 1000 customers, and a large social community, MindTouch has proven that you can build a successful and profitable company by “just giving it away.” The challenges that Aaron would like to explore at the Forum pertain to re-branding in order to attract top decision makers at organizations. Combine this objective with the opportunity for expanding into new markets, and then the additional challenge is how to develop new sales channels.

If you live in San Diego (or just happen to be in town), the MIT Enterprise Forum case study will be presented live, September 23rd from 5 to 8PM at the Salk Institute, 10010 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037  Click Here to Register!
