Being a big believer in volunteering and social activism, I’m always interested in organizations who choose the MindTouch platform as the basis for their outreach activities. One such organization is Climate Lab, a community site working to drive awareness and action on climate change related issues, by improving knowledge sharing and collaboration on the subject. They recently launched Climate Lab Networks — a program that allows the syndication of Climate Lab content across partner sites, creating a center of excellence around climate change with the contributions of network members.

The MindTouch platform makes it possible for non-programmers to connect systems, databases and web-services in the context of an easy-to-use collaborative environment. For Climate Lab, MindTouch is a powerful platform for rapidly publishing and syndicating its content – allowing them to create meaningful conversations on environmental issues. The customer acquisition process has become more open and participatory, and requires collaborative capabilities. To bring this vision to market, MindTouch and Levementum will be announcing a joint solution for SugarCRM customers at this year’s SugarCon conference. We’re very excited about this partnership and the opportunity to become part of the SugarCRM ecosystem.
